Canon Australia 2011 Environmental Grant

Canon Australia has awarded the Small Farms Network with $5000 worth of Canon products to help us reach our project goals.

Our project aims to create greater web-based support to our 783 members and allow the Network to share and tell their stories to increase peer learning and networking within our community.

Our project aims over the next 12 months include:

1. Create a series of video web-stories to promote peer learning, by documenting members journeys over the past 8 years, from sea-changers to farmers.

2. Create a series of video web-case studies of various sustainable agricultural/environmental projects completed over the past 8 years, illustrating changes in landscape, changes in landholder attitudes and their management practices.

3. Document and upload on-farm workshops & training to enable members to access expert advice / presentations held across the district on sustainable agriculture / NRM.
